The following configurations are in service:

  • Single slow speed engines 6-12 cylinders, VIT control and cylinder LO control
  • Twin slow speed engines on common gearbox, 2 engine-driven shaft generators, multi-channel tacho system
  • Two slow speed engines driving 2 propellers and 2 shaft generators
  • Two sets of twin engines on common gearboxes, totally 4 shaft generators
  • Two sets of twin engines on common gearboxes, engine synchronization
  • Two sets of twin engines on common gearboxes, propeller shaft synchronization
  • Two sets of twin engines on common gearboxes, Multi Channel Tacho and propeller shaft synchronization
  • Diesel-electric propulsion, 5-6 engines feeding 2 busbars
  • Stationary power plant with 6-12 engines (a cluster of 36 engines is planned)
